Peter, a man who has just about given up on love and being happy, settles into his boring and lonely life when one night he is almost scared to death by the arrival of a strange woman named Alice. This bizarre intruder claims to be his wife from the future of an alternate timeline, and refuses to leave, as she is deadset on completing her “mission”. Now Peter has to keep his cool and her hidden before people ask too many questions and things get too far out of hand.
Wife From The Future is an original series written by Timothy Banfield. It is a modern Western anime-style romcom adventure with Sci-Fi elements.
The show is inspired by classic romcoms like “I Dream Of Jeanie” and classic anime like “Tenchi Muyo”. The show focuses mostly on drama, romance, and comedy, but has a heavy sci-fi theme with intense action throughout the series. The target audience is young adults but aims for a PG-13 rating with minimal profanity and adult humor. In it’s projected 16-20 episodes, split across 2 seasons, some episodes will take on lighter tones while others will touch on deeper and darker subject matter, exploring heavier and more mature themes.
