Wife From The Future
Wife From The Future is an original series written by Timothy Banfield. It is a modern Western anime-style romcom adventure with Sci-Fi elements.
Peter Harison, a young adult male living a lonely life of work and boredom finds a mysterious woman who has teleported into his living room claiming to be his wife from the future of a parallel timeline. Despite his best efforts, Peter agrees to let this apparently crazy woman stay with him in his small house until she has completed the mission she came here to accomplish. But in doing so, he must also lie to his coworkers and hide her from his friends to continue on with his life which has become far less normal.
The show is inspired by classic romcoms like “I Dream Of Jeanie” and classic anime like “Tenchi Muyo”. The target audience is young adults but aims for a PG-13 rating with minimal profanity and adult humor. In it’s projected 16-20 episodes, split across 2 seasons, some episodes will take on lighter tones while others will touch on deeper and darker subject matter.
